Inflatable Makers Develop Recyclable Materials for Green Export

Aug 10, 2026 — Inflatable product manufacturers are developing recyclable TPU and recycled PVC materials to meet green requirements from European buyers.

Traditional inflatable goods mostly use virgin PVC, which is hard to recycle and creates plastic waste after disposal. New recyclable TPU can be reprocessed and reused while keeping good air tightness and tensile strength. Although raw material costs are 20%–30% higher, more B2B buyers prefer eco-certified products.

Many exporters add environmental certificates such as GRS to their product packages. Industry analysts say green materials will become a basic requirement for inflatable exports to EU markets in the next 3–5 years. Enterprises failing to upgrade materials may lose overseas orders.
